Theme Designs' art glass studio recently contributed an array of custom sconce lights to the El Toro Mexican Restaurant "The Bull Ring" patio project. Resident glass artist, Robin Hawkins, lent her unique style to two cone sconces (above), six plate sconces (below), and a gargantuan cover plate for the overhead lighting (left.)
Ribbons and bands of glass flow over and under each other and out of the box in this "Ice Ribbon" fused glass wall sculpture.
The words "glass art" tend to conjure images of stained glass windows. While stained glass is great—and yes,Theme Designs Studios can make that, too—there's another option blossoming into popularity...and for good cause.
"Fused Glass" refers to the practice of bonding glass shards into masterful works of art. These pieces take glass art to a new level of sophistication by combining the color and light of stained glass with the three dimensionality and texture of sculpture.
Because they're created with hundreds, if not thousands, of pieces of glass, each and every work of fused glass art is utterly unique. They can be matched to any setting, any decor, and customized to suite your space's individual personality.
From Theme Designs Studio's hallmark one-inch baubles, up to ten-foot long wall sculptures...and beyond—
If you can dream it, we can build it.
Pason Offshore wanted an art piece that complemented the iridescent tile of their custom water wall and the rich color scheme of their new office. Maintaining a sense of scale while providing 3 dimensional relief and serpentine curves was a great challenge in the design and installation of this 10' x 3' fused glass art wall.
